so it's not that i don't like lipstick.. it's that i'm just not used it. and yes our weather is weird. some days it's still warm enough to wear this. then the next day i can wear tights and a cardigan.

I always dress up for church - that's how I was raised. Even though most churches that I've been to in LA are very casual (the pastors wear jeans and sometimes even shorts!) - I still have to wear my Sunday best. It gives me an excuse to get to dress up at least once a week.

I was in Houston this past weekend and got to reunite with Issa & Roz for Roz's wedding. It was soooo wonderful seeing them again since we don't get that many chances anymore. Will be posting pics of the 3 of us together soon!

i've had some trouble finding some good pleated pants... until i went to target to pick up these from the boys section. cheap and just enough pleat.

anyways it was busy but fantastic weekend that ended with roz becoming a mrs. so congrats to her and her new hubby.. she was just the most beautiful bride :)

i told you we just finished a new photoshoot project didn't i? well we did. and as you can see it was another collaboration with fashionBFF phi-style. our inspiration? the emma watson teen vogue shoot + maison michel's lace bunny ears. There was a lot of DIY for this shoot, tramanh was the hair and makeup artist, don't you just love it? and we both helped make ears, and flower accessories for the shoot.

and did i mention that we had two photographers... these lovelies are by the super talented annie of anniecat photography.. thanks so much for making us look. well purty goot. :) because there was much awkward.. almost as much as there were mosquitos. of course dru was our other photog... his version of the shoot next time.

I just adore holiday decor.. and halloween is no exception as you can see by just a smidgen of touches i have around the house.. i was inspired to post these photos after seeing lar and cath's mom's exquisite halloween tablescape.. it's AMAZING.

and if you're in some need of ideas of your own and on the cheap.. i noticed that kmart actually has some videos online with some halloween decorating tips!

now i just need to figure out a costume for saturday... i don't think i can beat last years costume.

the proportions are probably a bit weird in this outfit.. but i liked it. and i just love mens button ups. they go with everything.

hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. i had longest saturday ever.. and most random. wine and cognac for lunch, then a car show and street fighter 4 tournament, then bar and late night korean foods and ended the day at 4am. it was like it was 2001.

last night at the Junior Boys concert.. which was superbly awesome. i've been waiting to see them since 2004. it was also halloween themed.. hence the somewhat costume-y concert wear and big hair. although it was so freakin' hot in the venue that my hair was straight and flat by the end of the night.
